5 Reasons Why Online Lead Generation Is The BEST Online Business Model

The reality is that there are literally hundreds if not thousands of ways to make money online. You have everything from network marketing to affiliate marketing to CPA offers, etc. In fact, I've pursued many of these business models myself in my quest for time and money freedom.

After spending thousands on courses, get rich quick schemes, MLM opportunity offers, etc I found a LEGITIMATE, SOLID business model. It is a model where I am in the driver's seat. I have full control of my income, and my income is SECURE.

The model I'm referring to is Online Lead Generation and email marketing.

The real beauty of it is that it is an extremely simple concept.

Online Lead Generation (also known as list building in the IM world) is simply building a subscriber base that you can market to at will.

Here are the 5 Reasons Why Online Lead Generation is in fact the Best online business model out there:

1. It is a VERY simple business model. You only need a few building blocks to get it going. You need to have a website. I recommend using a WordPress blog - they are very simple - no HTML! On this site you'll need a squeeze page with an opt-in form. The opt-in form is where visitors enter their contact information and get on your list. This is usually done in exchange for a free offer (video, free report, piece of content, etc) You'll also want to have an autoresponder to do your follow up and email marketing to your leads on your list.

2. You can make it 95% AUTOMATED - automation is the true beauty of doing business online. It allows you to do the work of an entire office staff by yourself AUTOMATICALLY!

3. You OWN your leads!!!! An email list is like owning real estate on the internet. You'll build a loyal following that will follow you anywhere and BUY whatever you recommend to them! Having complete ownership of your business is SO HUGE! I have made money with several other models where I marketed for the company (affiliate or network marketing) only to have them change the rules, and POOF! my income vanished overnight!

4. A big email list is like having your own cash register that spits out money on command! Every time you send an email recommending a product offer to your list... you make money! Just like that!

5. Generating a huge list of lead requires very little TIME! This is the biggest advantage of online lead generation. As you market and build your list it continues to grow and grow. As your list grows so does your income!

Just imagine having a list of 100,000 leads. You wake up on Monday morning - time to get to work. You pull out the laptop after your morning swim in the ocean. You're sitting on the porch of your beach house in San Diego, CA. Your personal chef has just served you a cup of coffee, and is making your breakfast. You pull up the laptop and open up the notepad program on your computer. You write a simply, but compelling subject line. Then you write an email that is 1 - 2 short paragraphs in length promoting your latest product (or just an affiliate product offer). You then copy/paste it into your AWeber account and schedule it to be sent to your list tomorrow morning. This entire process took you about a half-an-hour. Then you go about your day enjoying your family and doing whatever you like. Tomorrow you'll wake up to payment notifications in you email inbox!

Let's break down the numbers...

Let's say your product offer paid $50.

We'll also use some conservative conversion rates here.

You send out the email to 100,000 people.

Only 10% of them even open your email = 10,000 opens (normal open rate = 10 - 20%)

Then you get 2% of the people on your list to click the links in your email = 2000 clicks! (how much would it cost you in PPC ads to get 2000 clicks? $1000-2000)

Now a decent sales page will get a 1 - 3% purchase rate (conversion rate) so we'll say 2% of the 2000 clicks purchased = 40 sales.

We get $50 per sale multiplied by 40 sales = $2000!!!

so, we spent 30 minutes sitting at our laptop to make $2000! That's $4000/hr! Not a bad day at the office wouldn't you agree?

The best part is that we can do that every day if we want. And as we grow our list even bigger we continue to get paid even more.

Now do you understand why Online Lead Generation and email marketing is the best online business model?

Why Writing Good Copy Can Save Your Business Today

There are a lot of posts out there about marketing strategies, lead generation and brand building but what I've noticed is that there aren't a whole lot of posts about how to write good copy.

In my opinion, I think being able to write good copy is the most important skill in online marketing.

Why?

It's what enables you to turn leads into buyers and business partners.

What's the point in having hundreds or thousands of leads if you can't convert any of them into sales or new recruits?

So I'm going to take some time here to share with you some really good copy techniques that I've learned from buying courses and attending copy writing webinars so you can take your business to the next level.

Some Principles You Must Take Into Consideration When Writing Good Copy

Now before I share with you my little nuggets I'll define what copy writing is so you fully understand what I'm about to tell you.

Copy writing can be defined as "the act of writing copy for the purpose of marketing, and advertising a person, business, opinion or idea".

So just to set things straight, copy means words or text.

Now the purpose of writing good copy is to persuade the reader, listener or viewer to take a certain action.

Now this could be asking them to subscribe to you, buy a product, or leaving a comment on your post.

Good copy technique #1: Write How You Talk
The reason why this is important is because you want your readers to be able to relate to what you're trying to say, and you can't do that if you're writing like you're aiming to get an A+ or 100% score in an English exam.

Not only will this bore your readers brain into oblivion but they won't be able to get to know the real you. People want to work with people they like and trust and they won't buy from you let alone want to work with you if they don't know the real you.

Good copy technique #2: Know Your Audience
I'm sure you've heard of the saying, "You can't sell steak to a vegetarian".

Be aware that if you are not talking to the right person (someone who is looking for what you have to offer), you will not get them to buy from you.

You could be the best salesperson in the world, but if you're talking to someone who does not care about what you're saying, then you're just wasting your breathe.

So what you should do is research who your target audience is. You must know who you're talking to. You can't just type your copy out hoping to pull in as many readers as you can. Not only are you spreading your message too thin, you're not attracted quality leads for your business.

Good copy technique #3: Tell Stories in Your Copy
Everyone loves a good story. Even better if it's an inspirational story that makes people feel good after reading it.

When you tell a story, you're telling your readers that you're a person who has struggles, triumphs, setbacks and wining moments just like everybody else. When you take people on an emotional journey, they are more likely to associate the feelings involved in the story with their own emotions.

When they identify with the story that you're telling, you just helped your prospect form a likeable relationship towards you.

Good copy technique #4: Motion in the story
Elaborating on my last point, people will become more inspired when your story starts at a low point. Now this is the point where the person in the story is either struggling, broke, or unemployed.

This creates empathy and builds an automatic want for the little guy to turn things around.

If you follow this up with an all time low phase which becomes the turning point in the protagonist's life, this not only makes the protagonist more likeable but it creates hope that everybody too, can make a change in their lives as well.

Creating hope and inspiring people is key here. Always end the story on a positive note.

Now that you know some good copy writing techniques it's time for you to start applying them to your own business and watch the sales increase. If you are eager to learn more about online marketing then click here to access more valuable information.
